Hello my mission minded friends.
Seems like only yesterday we were in Peru. Things are going well there. I have been in touch with Pastor Antero. They have had lots of baptisms. The gated wall is done and Maranatha is finishing the church with stucco and paint. Thanks again to those of you who sent extra money for the wall, the camera etc. I will send you all pictures of the church as soon as I get them. You all are very special to me. Those of you who participate on mission trips, you who are always praying for us and those of you who help support our finances, God bless each and every one.

Well I have been trying to make a decision on where to go. Several opportunities have come up. What seems to be the work that God is leading in is Valley de Angela's, Honduras. I have received information on this project and I really believe this is it. Valley De Angela's is a beautiful part of Honduras. Many of you who worked in Honduras several years ago got to go to this location and we stayed at the hospital for 2 days while we shopped there. Valley De Angela's if you remember has the best shops for leather goods and all the wood boxes, wood chest and most wood products that are shipped all over Central and South America are made right there.

Let me tell you a little bit about the project. There is a Dorcas Group located near the hospital that serves a large area. Some 26 to 30 very poor villages are served by this group. Let me explain first the Dorcas program for those of you who might not know. Dorcas was a female disciple restored to life at Joppa. You can find this amazing story in the book of Acts Chapter 9 verse 36 and on. Tabitha as she was called was a very special women who always helped other people. Making and distributing clothes, food and other needs. She has set an example for all of us. Never wanting anything but always giving everything.

This Dorcas group has asked if we can build them a building to help serve this area. These folks who live in this very beautiful part of Honduras are very very poor. This is a golden opportunity for us to be part of a very special program. They also would have us travel throughout the villages and help with the medical needs of these folks who live in the mountain areas.
Because of the expense of visiting the hospital for these people even though it is not very expensive, they do not have the money to go there. The hospital is a very important part of the community. It is run by the S.D.A.
church and does as much as it can to support the local people. The hospital administration asked if we could do some repairs there also. They would also let us stay at the hospital if we wanted to. Food could also be provided. It could be possible for our team to use the kitchen there to take care of all our needs. There is also an orphanage near by that many of you will enjoy visiting and possibly help with some work there.

Well I know it is not a lot of information but I will be getting to Honduras soon to look at the project. The time period would be somewhere towards the middle of Feb. as it always has been.

I pray that all of you will be part of this project. I will provide lots more information soon. Pray for me as I look over this project. I will need all of your help. We will have to raise several thousand dollars for materials to build this building. Several of you have already told me you are going in Feb. no matter where we go. Please write me soon and let me know what you think and let me know you are going. Several could not go to Peru in Feb. because they waited to long. You will hear from me soon,

God bless you all,
Sincerely,
Bob
